Sheila DeLaquil’s works, “Kokopelli” and “Submerged #4″ are featured at the Future Tellers exhibit at Gallery 114 through July 1, 2017. Artists tackle questions about the world of tomorrow: what will politics, science, technology, the human condition, and making art look like? Do artists foresee a world of fear or hope? Feel empowered or endangered? Artists respond to these questions in diverse media, telling their stories of the future.

The Docent Council is a passionate group of art enthusiasts who pursue avenues to share their knowledge of the fine arts with the community at The Portland Art Museum. There will be over 20 docents participating in this unique show that celebrates this group’s successful women in all mediums of the art world.
